My name is......, you know what doesn't matter. My internet name is Colil Hasnel. This is the very first blog on the website and also this is the first blog of my life. In this blog, I am only gonna talk about myself. I was born in October 2002 at Vadodara, Gujarat. I have spent most of my life in Vadodara. Since 2015 I was living in Surat, Gujarat, and recently I have shifted to Valsad, Gujarat.
I started my schooling at the age of 2 and a half or something. My first school was Ambe Vidyalaya. I studied for a decade, yeah that's right, for pre-school, middle-school I was there. There are so many awesome memories of that place in my mind, like the first kiss, first bunk, first sports competition, first quiz, first performance, and so many more firsts. I will talk much more about these memories in upcoming blogs. On my first day of 1st grade, the guy who was seating with me was my best friend for the rest of the time I was there. We were always together. There was also this girl whom I liked in 2nd grade; I had a major crush on her. The life there was very awesome, I enjoyed it a lot.
When I was 13 years old, in 2015, I shifted to Surat. I joined LP Savani International School in 8th Grade. In the beginning, I was crushed, I was not happy at all. The first few months were very difficult for me, I had changed schools for the very first time, I didn't know anybody, I was lonely, it was a completely new city. I actually kind of began to hate the city, but life is so unpredictable. I spend the best years of my life till now in that city. That very city, which I hated so much, it made my teen years so memorable. My school life in Surat was also pretty amazing, I did everything that a student is not supposed to do in school. In LPSI I had made 2 of the most blessed friends anyone can have in this whole world. They are also so crazy like me, and for most of the part, we 3 are always partners in crime.
When I moved to Surat, as I told you, at first, I was devastated. But a few months later I met a girl. It was my first real relationship. We were in the same class, we became friends and eventually ended up falling in love. It was one of the best phases of my life. Everything was just so good; we were really hitting it off. It all started in December 2015. Apart from my relationship, I was totally exploiting my freedom. I went to movies with friends, long drives, the only thing in my mind during all those years was to just have fun. And another important detail is that I was in a long-distance relationship, she was in a whole another country, but even though we were apart, we made it work for quite a good time. We eventually broke up in February 2019.
In October 2017, something happened that was a turning point in my life. I always studied on my own, without any help from my parents or tutor and I was pretty good in academics. I never really needed tuition. But in 2016, when I was in 9th grade, my grades were falling, the reason I already told you, I was busy having so much fun. Then in April 2017, it was the beginning of 10th grade, someone really important came into my life. Our new science teacher, when I first saw him, he was like how teachers are, I had no idea how important a role he was gonna play in my story in the upcoming years. He owned a private tuition class, and as I told you my grades were falling, I joined Paramount Education in October 2017. It was a new experience for me, but today I only regret why I didn't join that institute earlier. I learned so many new things at Paramount, academics were just a small part of it. I also met great new mentors in the next academic year at Paramount Education. I am nothing but grateful that I am a proud Paramountee. I studied there for one and a half years, until May 2019, then I exited Paramount Education to again study on my own like I always have.
During my 12th, I was pretty serious in my life. I was still enjoying my life, like hanging out, meeting new people, bowling is something I like. But I was also responsible and was dedicatedly preparing for IIT entrance. During IIT entrance preparation, most of the time I stayed in the house, for days and sometimes even weeks. I wasn't going to school anymore; I would stay at home and study for my aim. I developed new hobbies and interests, like physics. I can't talk enough about physics; I am madly in love with physics. Currently, I am pursuing Integrated MS Physics at SVNIT, because that's what I wanna do in my life. Another one of my passion/interests is computers and coding. You can say that I am a geek. I am always learning more about Computer Science, it's such an integral part of my life.
In September 2020, I gave my first JEE Adv. attempt. I didn't clear it. In fact, I was very far from passing the exam. My aim was always to crack one of the world's toughest UG exams; JEE Adv. and get admitted into the country's most prestigious institute, IIT's. I dropped a year and started preparing for JEE Adv. again. This time I worked harder than I did last time, and I appeared for JEE Adv. again in October 2021. 10 days later, results came out, and I cracked JEE Adv. this time. I was really happy. But as I mentioned earlier, life is so unpredictable. I didn't get a seat in IIT. I wasn't unhappy, I was fine. I got admitted to SVNIT in Physics program. The journey of JEE Adv. was really beautiful, and now I am on another beautiful journey of my life, College Life. I am just waiting for the offline campus to resume and wanna go to college, make new friends and start having lots of fun.
I guess that's pretty much about me. I have told you many things about me, that's it for now. If you are interested to read about me or my life or my thoughts, subscribe to my blog.
